One of my employees has a softphone setup on his laptop. It has not worked since he installed the software. I can get into the IP Card configuration and the first thing I suspect is that the MAC address in here is bogus. On a softphone, should the MAC address be that of the network card in the computer? And if the computer is sometimes on a wireless LAN connection, is that going to be a problem? (I'm assuming that the computer's MAC address would change when it changes LAN interfaces.)
