I still have a couple of those units working at two of my offices. Good systems but they've been out there awhile. Real work horses. My installation manual for that system is Issue #2 and it was printed in late 1993. BTW

Thanks much for the input.
I posted a bunch more questions as a reply under another post that both of you folks answered for YoungBuck1256 asking about "Premier Systems".
If you all don't mind looking there, we can let this thread die to keep it all togeather for anyone else needing the same info on these systems.
Apologies for not paying more attention and any inconvenience; had one eye on Wilma.

I have one of these systems as well, it's been a good system but lately has begun to have this problem where the distant end can no longer hear the conversation. This seems to happen erratically from one or several of the extentions. Also during these episodes, extensions will not transfer to others. Is anyone familiar with this type of problem? I tried to locate the previous post on "Premier Systems" mentioned above, but no luck.

SteveB44, without some testing, it could be most anything, but from your discription it sounds as if the CPU card is going bad. You should be able to find a like system on the internet or on ebay, but you are really putting good money to waste. These IMX systems have out lived there life. (30+ years) I would suggest that you purchase another system, if not a new one, then a good re-furbished one and consider yourself lucky for the life you had with the IMX.
