I finally got OfficeServ Manager to load on my laptop and effectively communicate with our iDCS100 system that we purchased used. I can run the different 'MMC's' and see that the system recognizes what models of phones I have connected as well as other system info like installed cards, etc. When we picked up the system, the punch blocks were left connected to the base unit. Therefore, when I installed the hardware, I used the numbering system already written on the blocks as I thought this would be a good place to start. As mentioned above, I can see that I have installed the stations 201-208 correctly, but when I move over one of our existing CO lines to one of the CO punch downs (using previous numbering), how can I tell that the system recognizes an active live phone line? I get a dial tone from any of the stations but I cannot seem to access that line. They are all able to page each other, but trying the buttons is to no avail. (I am aware that all the station buttons are programmable) Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

MMC603 tells you what lines are programmed in the dial 9 group, you can put them in any order you want.

MMC 724 tells you the numbering plan for anything that has a code, 701 is line one, 702 is line 2, etc.

If you do 806 it will recognize all the cards.

I can walk you through most anything, PM me if you like.

You need to access 722 and programme DT busttons on the phones. You can do this one by one or by phone type in 723.

Thanks for the help. I do have another question,I would like our office staff (as well as engineering) to be able to dial an outside line without having to dial '9'. This is how our present system is set up. You just pick-up, select line 1,2,or 3 and your good to go. When I do MMC603, my lines show up in group '9' then the next column is 801,then 802,803,etc. How do I get my stations to go direct to the call buttons on the keyset without dialing '9' first? Also since I've been using CO3 [(703)our line '3']during the day for setting up the new system, it shows up on call button '1' on the keysets. Is it reasonable to expect that when our existing lines'1'and '2' are connected to CO1 and CO2, that the system will autosense these new lines and 'bump' line '3' to the third button which I've assigned as CALL 3 in MMC723 (or 722)? Thanks for all your consideration.

You are mixing up call keys with dt keys.
You need at least 1 (idealy 2) call keys per handset.
you then need to program dt701, dt702, etc keys for the line appearance you are after

Thanks Nameless. I got my 'DT' assignments to the keyset buttons the way I wanted without calling '9' for an outside line. On another note, I'm trying to set up an external page to our existing location speaker system. When I do MMC723, I have set all our 18 and 28 button keysets to have PAGE on button #26. I've set the extender value to '5' because in MMC605 the first external page zone is '5'. Is this set up correct? In MMC218 I've assigned the first relay type(363) to external page. also in MMC605 I've assigned member 1/zone 5 to 363(I assume the correct relay value as stated above). My installation manual indicates that the basic external page relay switch on the KSU should show up on pins 11 and 36 on the P1 connector. But when I meter across the pins, I cannot read a short as I should when the relay closes. I can hear a relay engage when I pick up a keyset, and press my assigned PAGE button. My assistant on this project said he could hear the relay coming from the MISC board location. We only need one global plant external page. I know that there are additional assignable relays on the MISC bd. Have I over complicated the issue by assigning the external page to the wrong zone (MMC605)instead of using the one available relay already on the KSU board? Sorry for being so wordy. Thanks.

361 is the ext page voice output, you need to put that in the page zone.
363 is 1 of the relays.

If you put a test phone in monitor mode over the ext page pair (can't remember which off hand, but they will be listed in the manual) and then page you should be able to hear the page via through the phone
