I have a customer with a ctx670, not sure of software, its probably been in for 10 years. The CID displays letters with spaces between them, like T C A (example) nothing in between. Customer says it happens about 80% of the time. System has been reset, provider says its good on their end. Its PRI. Any ideas? Thanks

Upgrade the software to the latest version and that will fix the issue of lowercase letters on CID.

the software is not the issue, its been working fine(cid). Its not about upper or lower case letters, its only displaying the fisrt letter of the name.

If it happens 80% of the time, then monitor the d-channel while on site and see if the name shows correctly on the d-channel.

I'd document a few dozen calls coming in from known people that you can repeat the lost letters (residential) and tell the Windstream agent to come on site and see the problem and FIX it.

From my recent experience they want the money but don't want to do much to take care of problems, you have to fight hard.

Well Windstream says their end is good. I tried changing out PRI card but it made no difference. The cabinet is CHSUB672A, the processor is BECU1A/BBCU1A, the software is AR2.10 MG030.00 Anybody know if this software can be upgraded or would i need to go to a CIX processor? Thanks

That processor can be upgraded up yo version 3.10. A new processor would be required to upgrade up to the latest version 5.20.
