Hi: I have one person in our office who is requesting that his phone ring more rings before going to voicemail. The calls are sent to his phone via an auto attendent and he wants 6-7 rings before the call goes to his emails since he is in out out his office. Our office is small so he could be able to pick it up in 6 rings no matter where he goes but it now goes to his voicemail after 3 rings. Any help would be appreciated.

Forward timers are system-wide, to you can’t change it for just one extension.
The easiest way is to create a separate forward path – make the first forward point the user’s extension and the second forward point the voice mail application. It will ring the phone “twice†before going to voice mail. The forward time is now System Forward Initiate plus System Forward Advance.

Can you be more specific and tell me how to do this with the second forward point?

Go to Station Related Information / System Forward Paths and press F1 for help. It's spelled out pretty clearly there.
