Hey guys
I have a quick question I have a new install using a MP 3 player for MOH and I am not getting much volume out of the system is there anything special that i need to chenge to increese the volume any help would be great.

Most MP3 players you will have to turn up all the way and bump the volume in the Admin console.
I picked up a generic Player at Frys for 22.00 that worked well at 80% volume.

Does anyone else using generic mp3 players?
I've tried it ones and don't want to do that again, customer had 2 power outages (long enough to drain UPCs) both times I drove there to restart a player.

Nope. We either sell proper devices or let the customer play with it themselves.

Nope. We either sell proper devices or let the customer play with it themselves. Ditto I tell the customer we can supply a device made strictly for the purpose with royality free music , explain to them that rebroadcasting commercial music is often problematic and illegal without paying royalties if they want to do their own We suggest they contact ASCAP for pricing info

I tried an mp3 on a dsx 80 total pia with customer
went to correct player no further issues.
