I'm back with another new-admin question. I am trying to update the cell phone numbers that some phantom extensions are fowarding to.

is there a way, inside DB studio to see where our phantom exts. are currently forwarded? I can't seem to find that... and thus don't know where to change where they are forwarded to.

Dial the Phantom Extension number from a phone in your office. Wait for it to forward, then go look at you SMDR report. It'll be there.

I believe you can also see the forwarded numbers on the Operator's Console.

Are you using phantom extensions (programmed nonexistent extensions in the cabinet) or phantom devices in DB Programming? Phantom devices are programmed only in DB Programming. If you are using phantom extensions, you will have to move a card into the empty slot, patch a phone and reprogram the forwarding.

To the best of my kniwledge there is no way to see what a phantom has been programmed for.
For phantom extensions and devices we program using feature code 359 (from any phone - but a display is nice), extension number, password (which we program same as extension / device), 355 (Fwd all calls), 8 or code for ARS, number of cell, #. To test just dial the extension number of the phantom.
Good luck.

In DB programming, enable On-Line Monitor. You now can see the forward info for any station or phantom.

Thanks for the responses. I have been able to use BaKaatz's method to just update all that needed it, and cancel for those that don't
