Anyone successfully setup SIP trunks from Level3 on an 8100?
I can receive inbound calls, but cannot call out.
Nec TAC says my system is setup properly, but I am hoping someone may have a guide or some pointers for Level3 SIP.

Make sure that you have your public IP specified in the NAPT IP setting?
Are you using user-authentication (sip registration) or public IP authentication? If registered, can Level3 confirm you're constantly registered okay?
You get ring and speech on the inbound?

Get ring and speech on inbound, inbound calls work 100%.
I do have the public IP in the NAPT IP setting.
Wireshark traces show when an outbound call is attempted there is NO traffic from the 8100 to the firewall... very odd..
I am going back Tuesday to run more Wireshark with a tech from NEC and a tech from Cisco on a webex...
These are un registered SIP broadsoft config.
Thanks for the replies, I'll update on what I find Tuesday.

As far as I know you have to have the public IP specified within the "NAPT Router" command - can't remember off the top of my head where it is, but from what I've seen, if you don't the SIP provider doesn't know where your packets have originated from (it appends the data with your private IP).

Have you played with the 10-29-14 settings? I'm sure you are already using ARS.

The pbx had been reprogrammed back and forth with authentication and non-authentication method when I was trying to get it to work and it had geeked up the database somehow and I was not sending out anything when trying to place a call.
I re-initialized the system and did some testing with NEC using Wireshark.
Level 3 uses Authenticate-on-Invite method and this required some eunique programming, but we got it figured out.

Wonder if it's got something to do with the carrier table in PRG 10.29.14 We have found that what work on one carrier does not aways work on another with the same carrier set.. I think down here we are up to carrier O..
