I have a DID that I want to ring differently to alert our staff to distinguish certain callers from the standard callers.
I figured setting up the Secondary Extension Key would be the correct way.
I have the number programmed in the Call Routing Table ring in to hunt group 2003.
When going to the key map I can not assign the hunt group as it does not appear in the device list. Can we not set a hunt group directly as a key assignment?
I guess I can change the Call Routing Table and have it go to a Phantom instead.
What is the correct procedure here for this?

From the drop down you can choose either Hunt Group Key or DSS key and type in the hunt group extension manually.

Wow what an oversight on my part. Thanks for the quick reply. I did get it working with a Phantom but the Hunt Group was what I wanted to do to avoid creating a Phantom.
Thanks Stix!
