In the prerecorded prompts, it is setup where if the caller presses "4" the caller gets the "dial by last name" directory. My question is: how do you enter new names into that directory? I have entered all employee names for their respective phone stations using the program code [693]. Only about half of the names are listed under the right letter when I try and search for them in the "dial by name" directory. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the help.

You need to connect a laptop/PC to the voice-mail card. You'll then go to the mailbox option and input the names.

Thanks for the reply! Ok I tried to connect to the card through a serial port via hyper terminal, and I followed the steps in the programming manual but I can't seem to bring up the main menu. I keep getting a message that says: "70 digital hybrid key-system Eng Ver 1.00-afe0; Password_____" I put in "0000" for the default password and nothing happened. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You're connecting to the KSU. You need to connect to the voice-mail card.
