Hello,

I am working on an issue for our sister company. The have a group of numbers within our system that needs to go straight to menu 901 when someone calls in. We have a group of numbers (for our primary company) that works perfectly fine, but our AA menu is established as 900 and 905. I need some help with how to get this working without having to set up a phone somewhere forwarding calls. Thanks for any advice.

If I understand you correctly, you are hosting two companies on one physical Iwatsu system - each of which has their own greeting. If so, and you're using the Iwatsu voicemail card, then you want to set up Dynamic Trunk Routing.

I have never heard of that before. What exactly is that doing for me? You are correct in your assumption though. We have 8 analog trunks. 4 belong to one company, and 4 belong to the primary company. Our 4 are working fine, but created a new menu "901" for the sister company and when a call comes in on those lines, we want it to go to menu 901 instead of having to go thru our 900 menu first.

Most of Dynamic Trunk Routing is configured in the VML. The process is more detailed than I can go into here and requires that you know your way around the Iwatsu voicemail card. You never mentioned if that is the voicemail you are using. Do you have the ability to call Tech Support?
