I have a cix 670 with a dk strategy. I can get the lights to go on, but I can't get them to go off. I can see the port go off hook for that extension after retrieving the message. I was able to turn on/off light from an other extension with #63 & #64. I'm going crazy!!! What next.

What is in the Stratagy user notification entry for MW lamp off?

It is set to 280 type and pickup

Are you sure the VM is a Stratagy and not a Contact DK ??

It's a strategy DK 8 port (with a light face and 2 db9). In the strategy manager in monitor screen, you can see the port go off hook briefly after retrieving the message. I have also tested the lamp on /off code from a phone and that works (#63& #64). is there a pause that I can try and where would I put it.

you maybe have to create a new template for each extension with #63300 300 is the extension number, save it & create new template for all your extension.

Change the template string for lamp off to match lamp on except for #64 in place of #63 (leave the method alone). If you replace it instead of add it, you won't have to change any of the other mailbox entry's. You can make the change from any user ID. Even if the entry looks good enter and save it anyway, it may be corrupted.
