I was recently asked to retrieve our call accounting records for the last 2 quarters, when I went to the call accounting computer, I found it had no new calls since 9/13/13. I tracked the problem to the Perle ethernet to serial converter and rebooted it, when it started working again, it started spitting out everything that had built up in the buffer. Well, I pretty much lost just about everything before I could get the CAS to start capturing again. Is there any way to re-retrieve this data or is it gone forever?
Any help is greatly appreciated, Rich
