I have created a help desk extension that plays an announcement message to notify callers of known issues, outages, planned maintenance, etc. Once the announcement message has completed, the callers are then transferred to a station group that rings several phones in the IT department.

The issue that I have is when the callers are transferred from the announcement message, they hear "Transferring to extension xxx". Is there a way to eliminate that message/notification?

We are running an Samsung OfficeServ 7400

Thanks

I must be missing something. I created the new Eclass, removed the blind xfer prompt, assigned the newly created Eclass to the extension but I still am hearing the "Transferring to extension xxx" message. Any other thoughts/guidance?
