Ext 340, the phone that was originally was installed was flashing like a Christmas tree. Customer swapped phones. New phone makes calls but the display is stuck saying “data locked FW456-000.02C” and one button is lit up red.
What does that mean? Bad port?

Could be bad port, corrupt programming, wrong model phone plugged in on the port. Definitely need to look at the programming to make sure a large screen wasn't plugged into a port programmed for a different model of phone.

It would have been an EP-100 24 Button swapped for an EP-100 24 Button.
I'll take a look at programming. Maybe the old phone went bad and messed up the programming... I just saw that somewhere.
