I have a few Toshiba CIX1200 and 670 systems. I attached Music On-hold devices to these systems. I have the volume turned up on the device. However the volume is still low on the incoming call external calls.

Is there a way of increasing the volume on the system? If so How?

What devices are you using for MOH?

I'm pretty sure there is a volume dial on the processor card itself. Never had to adjust one before though.

Short of that, there might be something in the PAD table for MOH volume.

When I have used a devices specifically designed for MOH, with a 600 ohm output, using pre-made MOH or professionally recorded MOH, I don't think I have ever had a volume issue.

When using a CD player or radio using the headset output, I always have problems.

You can use the PAD table and turn up the source volume. Also test with a land line, not a cell phone.

Not sure how to adjust the PAD table. Adjust to a postive or negative number?

Just so I remember it easier, I used to think of the PAD number as the number of pillows that muffle the sound. The higher number of pillows, the softer the audio.

Higher positive number is softer, and lower numbers (negative) are louder.

The message in the corner also tells you:
Net Gain < 0dB < Net Loss
Less then 0 is a gain. Greater then 0 is loss.
