Greetings, I have to create two zones with one amp on an os7400. I know I can do it by going through a relay on the misc. card, I know the out to the speakers is the 25 volt line. The question is will the misc. relay which has 1 amp rated contacts be able to handle the load or should I use a slave relay? TIA, John

On the Misc. card there are two paging relays. create one loop of speakers right to the output and another that goes through the relay normally open. Program one external zone with out the relay in it and another with the relay included. That should give me one zone excluding the speakers in one zone and an all call so to speak. I think.

Don't send the paging amp output through the misc card relays.Use it as a trigger for a slave relay.
