I am using OS7400 ver 4.75 and everytime I try to log on with the samsung softphone ver 1.3.1.2(jan 08) the soft phone fails to register.the sams laptop is running DM When I whitelist the laptop IP on the ipphone whitelist, the softphone registers temporarily and then fails. Also the IPPBX MP40 card ping response fails intermittently like 8 sec up 12 sec down. Now is there a way I can work with IP devices on the OS7400 without whitelisting them or is there a higher version of the samsung softphone

Hi, I'm using 4.80, but under 2.7.1 ITP information on the very right hand side (you may have to scroll) is an option to "Use IP Whitelist" Set this to disable.

I believe there is an issue running the old softphone client with recent MP40 software versions. I have a site where the mp40 became unresponsive on the network when I upgraded it to 4.80 and connected the old OS Softphone client.
OS communicator has a softphone mode is has replaced the old softphone application.
You can add x.x.x.255 to the whitelist to add the entire network range, or disable the whitelist for that particular extension.
