I have a customer with a Inter-tel 5000 system version 2.0.8.288, this week the incoming caller id has been showing 6666666666 and not the number. I have talked to the provider and it is not on there end. I restarted the system and still the same result. Any suggestions?

Are these loop start trunks? If so, do you have a Caller ID box that you can put directly on the line?

It is a PRI sorry i should of put that in the original question.

Do you have an app named 66666666 ? maybe it's showing the transferred from?
