Greetings,
I've never had this come up before:
When the reception dials a person’s extension, that person’s name shows up on the Nortel system. The Samsung doesn’t do that. If possible, program it so it does the same thing. If it can’t be done, plz let me know. The receptionist finds that helpful because sometimes they dial the wrong extension and they would know it is wrong by the name that shows.
TIA,
John

NP.

FYI that setting was introduced in about 2.4 or 2.6 idcs100/500 R2 software.

I wonder why I've never encountered the question before? And why it's not on by default?
I only started doing Samsung in 2010. Before that I was doing Nortel everything from Norstar thru Option 81. If you have time last question How many SMTi 5264's per 5220s?
Thanks

The ip aom'a have the same limitations as digital aom's. 4 per extension. The ip aom's will pass poe through to the phone if it's on the pass through port

Not sure if I know I'll be able to figure out how to configure them tmw. I'll try to suffer through the limited documentation I have.
Thanks
