Can anyone tell me what would prevent me from getting an outside line by dialing 9 on a 6945 system phone? My system software is: CUCM 8.6.2.22900-9. I can dial internally and can receive calls when dialing my extension from outside but cannot dial out. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Make sure you have a route pattern in the same CSS as the line is in that allows calls to 9.XXXXXXXXXX

Dialed Number Analyzer in serviceability area is a good tool. Sounds like it does not have the correct CSS

Have the correct CSS for the Directory number you will use on the 6945.
