Hello everyone. Hoping for some help here. Thank you for all the help in the past. I have a customer that is looking to setup just 1 mailbox on their CTX100. When they were trying to do so they managed to get the system to not answer at all and they called me. They do not know the password and I am unable to get into the system to do anything. Anyone out there that can help us?

Thanks! Chris

If it doesn't answer, there's not much you can do remotely. You'll probably want to go on site to fix this and then reset the password using your laptop.

Are you familiar with connecting to the IVP8?

Yes I can connect no problem. Just not the correct password.

Also any clue why I don't get emails when you respond so I know to login and check?

I am receiving the following error, using a serial port to USB adapter. All my settings in device manager match those of the VM Manager Software. COM1 Baud: 57600, Data Bits 8, Stop Bits 1.

Any Ideas??

Error Message "Serial Port Resource - Open (CreateFile) Failed on COM1; error 2"

It sounds like the com port is being used by another program or more likely COM 1 doesn't exist. Typically a USB serial adapter won't be COM 1. My adapter, for examples is usually COM 3, but could be COM 4 or 5 depending on which USB port I plug into.

You may have to double check you Device Manager on you computer to see which port the USB adapter is using and change VM Manager accordingly.

Use a laptop/computer that has a real serial port and try and connect again.
If you get a password error then that is not a problem and I or a Toshiba tech can change it no problems.
