Can I get a second phone, besides the superconsole, to alert on a telephone extension dialing 911. I have a sub attendant setup but it will not alert. This is a LW17 200el. Customer would like a second phone to alert in addition to the console.

If not, what would be required, an ICP?

What happens when you program a button on your sub attendant set with the attendant console's prime line?

As I suspected you cannot do a multicall line appearance of the console extension number. You can put the same LDN keys but they won't ring during a 911 notification.

What happens when you make a call pick-up group with the sub and console in the same group. Can you do a pick-up?

It may be unusual to LW17, but I have several LW19 systems and they can all pick up attendant calls from the sub attendants. You may only have to upgrade to LW19 if the pickup group doesn't work.

It appears if the feature level is too low it won't happen. This particular system is a feature level 0, lw17

I tested it on a lw19 ftr level 4 and it worked.

As I suspected. Why not upgrade to LW19 and resolve the problem?
