I have a customer that has an ESP and his staff keeps using dialing 9 for an outside line instead of using that outgoing button. This is causing an issue because 911 keeps getting called and the sherriff's office isn't happy. I know that the outgoing button is in a line group that sounds like the same as dialing 9. Can I disable the 9 without taking away the line group for the outgoing button? Thanks in advance, no one in our office is an expert on this system!!

You can change the Feature code from 9 to some other number like 901 in Database programming->Extension and Feature Access Codes. The Outgoing key will change automatically to whatever is programmed for the Feature Access Code area. i am not sure how that will effect a real 911 call though.
