Upgrading a 7400 with one expansion cabinet. Successfully upgraded the MP-40 and the LP-40. Used MMC818 to push the new LCP program to the card and it appeared to go normally. We were upgrading the LCP from v4.20 to v4.33. After several minutes of the phone display saying "Media Busy" the phone went back to normal as it does after pushing programming. The LCP then went through different cycles of the LED's (always repeating), but the card never came up after waiting 30 minutes. Rebooted the card...same issue. Rebooted the system - same issue. I did try to push both the old (v4.20) and new (v4.33) to the card as it was going through its LED pattern, but any time I try that, I receive an error message "write failure".
Brought a spare LCP over (v4.17) and it came up without an issue. Distributor tech support said there's nothing I can do - but wondering if anyone has any experience using the SIO port to recover a card such as updating an MGI/OAS.

There is a known issue upgrading lcp 4.17 and 4.20 to >4.31 You need to goto 4.31 first then 4.33 or higher.
There is a recovery procedure which will take the lcp to 4.30 then you can flash whatever you want.

I've looked and cannot find any reference to a tech bulletin here. If you wouldn't mind sending what you have, I would appreciate it.

I know it a bit late but I've got 2 LCP's that need recovery.
I have the recovery procedure and the DPSME.H file but within the guide it says I need to send the DPSCP.H file is this the same thing or do I need a different recovery procedure?

Same issue here. Killed 2 LCPs today as part of upgrades for same customer / multiple sites - both coming from v4.17 Running out of spares. If we could get the bulletin / recovery procedure it would be most appreciated.
