Happy Holidays!
Basically, we have the Inter-tel 5000 phone system here. We currently have a "Night Mode" button on our phones, that forwards all calls to an outside answering service. However, we would like to create another button where we can leave a greeting, stating that we are closed for the evening and give the caller an option to speak to our answering service via a button press. We actually have the need for both buttons!
I set some of this stuff up a loooooooooong time ago. I lost my notes and don't remember any of this!!
Thanks!!

Assuming you're using newer software, using a STAR app will effectively put the phones in night mode although it is not a night mode manager. What we do a lot is set the STAR to route based on specific calendar dates and also certain days of week for routine known events. Then put a route in the STAR (toward the top), set to night mode only, and only press night mode when you want this alternate route to be in effect.
60% of the time it works every time
