My Church just received a dontated Inter-Tel 5000 system. I am in the industry but mainly work on ESI, Avaya, and Nortel. Not familiar with the 5000. Another parishoner used to work for a Inter-Tel dealer and knows the Axxess and Axxcent, he is going to give me a hand. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the programming software and how can i find out the version of the switch. I appreciate any help you can provide me. Our church is a new parish with not a lot of $$ so I am trying to help them out if I can. Thanks

Can't help with software but, The version can be found on the front of the display under system, down arrow one time and hit the center button to view.

Do you know who had it last? If so then maybe they could procure the programming software for you. Your friend, if he knows how to program the Axxess then he will have few problems once you get the software. Is there a SSL sticker on the system? That will identify the system to Mitel and they might be helpful as well. BTW where are you?
Good Luck
