I'm having trouble connecting to the LAN port on the card using the VMI editor software on any PC running Win7. WinXP machines are not having this issue. I made all necessary firewall exceptions and tried running in WinXP compatibility mode with no luck. has anyone else run across this issue ? thanks

Never had a problem, but try using a cross-over cable. Some NIC cards aren't auto-sensing.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get so bored, they go for a stroll through my mouth. This is rarely a good thing.

We had a very similar problem at our office where 1 pc could connect but all others would not. Per ICON it is a PC problem and here are the steps to fix it...
Computer Management -> Device Manager -> Network adapters -> then select properties of the installed adapter -> advanced tab
"UDP Checksum Offload (IPV4)" Set the value = "Disabled" and click "OK".
If you can't change it on the NIC, you will need to google the Windows registry change to fix it or use a serial connection.
