I haven't witness what you have described. There were issues with user voicemail boxes locking up, so far upgrading to 7.00.64 has corrected this problem What is the configuration of this SV9100? IP phones used?

We still have brief periods of no talk path every couple of months on our 9100s. I either re-set them or it goes away by itself. I've read that it has something to do with CDP. I used DIM to pull the arp cache from the 8100. Apparently this box doesn't like seeing quad zero's for an IP address and Cisco Discovery Protocol generates that somehow. The entry that I isolated belongs to Cisco. I showed it to our network administrator and he said "your box shouldn't be able to see that". So I've opened a can of worms but haven't sorted it out yet. I'll post if I get any closer to a solution.

When ever you have to confer with the IT Department to fix an issue you move 1 step further and 3 steps backward .

Its always a good day to learn something, I say that because it appears the SV9100 having audio issues with voice mail is a TDM system with analog trunks, what is wire shark going to show besides a possible duplicate of IP addresses with the CPU and another device on the LAN?

What I have seen is that the processor is essentially DOS attacked from a device till weird things started happening. Now I haven't seen any of this on the SV9100. I would ask when you first programmed the system did you default it first? I have also seen corruption from people trying to program the system via PCPRO and uploading it to a system. Uploading an overlay to the hardware that doesn't match up for whatever reason causes all kinds of issues. I have a certain way I have programmed these systems since the days of the i-series that has yet to fail me or cause weird issues like the other techs had. Now, TDM issues I have seen these new IAD boxes cause all types of issues. Especially the ATT ones on fiber. I ALWAYS tell them I want G711 on ALL trunks. Amazingly they default to G729 unless its a fax.
