I am trying to replace a cabinet.
I reloaded a database and all was good until I realized the 2 digit extensions DSS keys don't work.
I have the extensions as 10, 11, 12, etc.
I can direct dial an extension 1,1 calls x11.
My problem is the DSS keys for the 2 digit extensions all call x10. As though the system is doing 2 digits but, instead of dialing Fixed 101/Flex11, it dials 10 and goes to 100
The keys look right, 25S0011. The display on x11 shows 11. If I go off-hook on 11, the DSS keys as XXS0011 light up. However, if I push the DSS key it calls 10.
I can work around it by making Call Coverage, Non Ring keys BB464711. Then that works. I just can't get my DSS keys to work as staright up DSS keys.

I am wondering if it ever worked. The manual says any number as low as 100 and up to ~8000
I guess I will just set the keys as BB4647XX's.

I've been successful in using two-digit dialing on the STSe, but not on any version of the XTS. Both systems use the same programming though, so this shouldn't matter. Did you change the extension numbering using flash 52 or are you trying to use WinAdmin?

I loaded a backup and saw the problem. Then I tried clearing the buttons on a phone and re-adding them with Procomm and got the same result. Then I tried doing it via windba, then tried putting the keys on at a phone manually - get the same result.
I set up a cabinet on my desk, opened the backup and did a stare and compare and hand packed my desk cabinet.
The flexible numbering plan does show the 2 digit extensions in Procomm and in Windba.
If I download "Stations" in Windba it shows the DSS keys as 3 digit so I'm guessing that is because it is not pulling the flexible numbering at the same time in my partial download.
I did try in windba to program x10, then copy it to 11-20. That however, changed almost all the keys on 10 to 3 digit DSS keys and did nothing to 11-20.
All the phones are the same 30 button style with identical keys.
The Call Coverage Key - Non Ring does work.
At this point, rather than make a backup work at my desk and then go back to site and load that, I think I may be better off just going to site and programming all their DSS keys as 647's.
I have a feeling that this site was originally an STS of some kind. That it was replaced with an XTSc and possibly the problem was created then and no one noticed.
The install goes back before the last 2 management systems we've used so, I can't find out easily.
