Several years ago we upgraded our Toshiba Strata CIX phone system. At that time eManager was loaded on a Windows 7 PC. Recently we removed that PC and are now using a Windows 10 machine.
We purchased the updated eManager software from a local vendor and our office loaded it without issue. However, it does not connect. I am confident of the IP address for the phone system but unsure what we should be using for community name. I also see that the MAC address is different old to new but I am unable to change it.
The local vendor will not speak to us without charging a fee for professional services. Anyone out there willing to provide general information about the community and MAC address question? Any feedback is most appreciated.

If the community name does not match in your eManager to that on the processor, you won't be able to connect. I'm not sure if that really is your issue or not, but it certainly can be the reason you cannot connect. You will need to find out what the community name is to rule that out as a cause of you not being able to connect. If the community name was changed from the default, it could be anything and you're going to need the help of the local Toshiba dealer to help you find out what it is or reset it. As for the MAC address, you must be referring to the license part of eManager. Since you got a new PC, the MAC address that eManager sees will be different from the old PC. But that doesn't matter since the license part of eManager is for a MAS system which you don't have.

I sure hope they provided you with Network Emanager V5.20BW10 and the long list of things to do for a successful install for Windows 10.

I used Network eManager: V5.20C01 on Windows 10 64 Bit dell desktop for remote management. They took that version off their Website. They only have V5.20B29 and V5.20BW10

Is there much difference between the V5.20C01 and the V5.20BW10 that should I should change to the BW10 version instead of using the C01? As I recall, V5.20C01 was pre-loaded on new IPEdge systems as was available on Toshiba's FYI for some time. I heard that there was an issue with that version and pulled it from their site, and then came out with the Windows 10 version V5.20BW10 . I still have V5.20C01 running on IPEdge systems that had it pre-installed. I had some initial problems, but I was able to do an update on IE11 to get it fixed. The one thing that I know that you will be missing, that is only in V5.20BW10, is an IPEdge only setting for voicemail, Prg 579 FB22. It is not in C01 or B26. When setting up a new CIX with IPEdge voicemail you would need to change it through phone programming. Other then that, I think if V5.20C01 is work then you should be able to stay on this version

I suppose I can post this under this title. I've worked on Toshiba switches for at least 20 years with a 6 year break. I've just come back to telecoms recently but in the UK Toshiba have withdrawn. We have been using NEM v5.20B26 but only on Windows 7 Is it possible to trial a copy of the latest good version to work on Windows 10?
If it is please pm me - if I'm breaking rules I apologise too
