We have an Intertel Axxess system running 8.20 software. Our lines come in on a T-1 PRI.
About a week ago we started having trouble calling a couple of numbers that we routinely call.
When they are dialed they just sit there like they are trying to connect. After about 40 seconds there is a series of 10 or so beeps and then it hangs up. It never rings or tries to ring. If we pick up a cell phone and dial the numbers they always connect immediately.
Where do we look to troubleshoot this?
Thanks Dan

I would try calling your T1 provider first. Give them the numbers your having trouble calling.

When I call a T-1 provider I usually try to have call examples when I call in. Called xxx-xxx-xxxx at xx:xx a.m. usually this will help get the ball rolling faster

If the carrier is really good, they'll let you talk to the guys at the NOC. They'll monitor the circuit while you place test calls.

We are with XO and were able to get a tech at the NOC to do a trace on a couple of calls. He says the problem is with our PBX. Here are the results of his trace with a good call and a bad call.
I dont know what to look for.

Still sounds like a routing problem to me with XO but the only way to find out is to call in a qualified Inter-Tel tech that knows how to log into the T1 card and monitor the calls.

We've had similar problems with out 5600. I've tried talking with them like you have and never found an issue. Although always a reboot solved the problem.
Now we preform a regular reboot on Sundays and have never had a problem.
Before the reboot it would happen maybe every month, but not consistent.
