Hello all..

I have a Axxess 9.112 that is randomly dropping DKSC and showing a "Inconsistency Error From Digital Keyset Device" in the logs. Has anyone seen these errors or can anyone point me in a direction. Below is a snipit from the logs. If anyone needs more info i'm all ears. FYI, I replaced the line card a couple of years ago for the same problem but im not sure that the problem ever went away. I also just replace the phone that is on 1.1.1

The manual says this may indicate faulty wiring or a hardware problem in the keyset.

Verify that the keyset wiring is correct. If the problem persists, move the keyset to another port or another board. If the problem follows the keyset, return the faulty keyset for repair. Otherwise, return the faulty board for repair.

Would you think its possible for faulty wiring at a keyset to reset a line card?

As usual, the manual doesn’t provide a lot of background information.

It may be possible for keyset errors to reset the station card. I’ve had errors that caused a system major reset.

Did the errors stop when you swapped out the keyset?

No the keyset didn't make a difference. I'll double chack the wiring at both ends next.

I've had one digital keyset cause an entire Axxess PBX to stop dead in it's tracks.

Plug in broke keyset- call processing stops.
Unplug broke keyset- call processing resumes.

Had it happen twice to two different Axxess PBX's.

At the MDF/IDF's do you 66 blocks?? If you have bridge clips on the blocks, they can change preasure with the weather change and give you data errors on the card and the phone. Pinch them tighter and it may help your problem.
