Do you think AVAYA will ever design the Partner system to go bigger then the 5 slot cabinet????

Not every business can afford the Magix/Legend and want to stay small and simple, which the Partner was designed for.

I run across many businesses with proposals for the Partner system that they are unaware that they cannot expand it...

I mean a 5 slot cabinet with the VS mail now leaves you with 4 working slots which really cant get you that big.

Whats up with AVAYA....dont they care about the Partner SYstem...

They already have! There's an expansion cabinet available that plugged into the CPU with a monster-cable. It gave another cabinet with 4 available ports.

That was the Partner II, no longer manufactured. The ACS is still fixed to the 5-slot configuration. You can get 016 station cards, and now the 16-channel T-1 card. However, no matter how you configure it, you are limited to 48 extensions.

I think you mean 012 station card for the partner. The 016 is for the LEGEND & MAGIX.
