9 is the access to the pools 70-890-891 etc. You can renumber the pools and give access to the pools. Why do they want to do this instead of use the ars as it works very well? ------------------ | Business Telephones | Telephone Systems

Be aware that all of the unused extensions are numbered in the 7100 range, and the adjuncts are in the 7300 range. You're going to need to renumber everything that starts with a "7" to some other range before you can change the pool dial-out code to "7"

Why not just assign a pool button to the phones for those two lines?

Renumber the pool 890 to 7 after you renumber anything else using 7 as a leading digit. Then give the extensions access to the pool with the dialcd access from the Extension programming menu.
