Just installed ACS-7 and VS-5 Voice Mail and the customer is complaining that when a caller calls in and trys to access a party who has their Do Not Disturb lite on the caller hears "transferring call" then a pause then "transferring to operator" instead of going directly into their party's voice mail. When DND lite is off the phone rings. Does any one have a fix? Thanks

The DND is a known issue with the R7 when you use the VS mails.

Thank you - do you know if there is a patch or a fix? Would it work with an different processor?

no issues with R6 and below, not sure about the patch, I haven't heard of one but perhaps one of the other mods will know for sure.

There is a patch available from Avaya for the VS R5. A dealer has to get it and it is like pulling teeth. I also heard you need to use an R6 processor to load the upgrade on to the VM
If you log in to the admin MB and press 7 instead of 9 it will tell you the current software level.
FYI they no longer support the older VS's on the R7
