Is there a quick and painless way to setup Auto Line Select or Prime Line on a single-line port of a Legend? V7.0 software. We are not currently using ARS. Thanks!

are you looking to use a specific line or just get an outside line when you pick up the handset and bypass intercom dialtone?

I just need it to get outside dial tone. Similar to if they were to press 9. This is for a modem that the customer doesn't want to setup to dial a 9. Actually, in this specific case they can't. Therefore, it has to have outside dial tone as soon as it goes off hook.

you can assign your co pool group to the single line set or add a personal line to it then use auto line select, do this from the console or WinSPM by using centralized programming for that station, select an intercom button do *14 then select the pool group button or personal line, this should pickup that line first and give you an outside line.

Be sure you to give that station dial out code for the pool group or the personal line TAC code.

But you should also set the pool to No Ring, so the modem doesn't start picking up every incoming call.
