Im stumped.

I have one line assigned to pool group 70. This line is used for outcalling only. Out calling is turned on and 9* and the number is assigned.

Voice mail ports are rotary enabled and no restrictions. Voice mail ports are 7148, 7149 7150, 7151. What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks.

Is your system in Key or hybrid mode?

When a calling group is set to Integrated VMI, the members are automatically set to Restricted, and the ARS FRL is changed from 3 to 0. To allow outcalling, you must change to Unrestricted and 3.

TT, I did use the Intergrated VMI Feature. I'll go back and check this. Thanks TT.

I'm a newbie and I need to implement outcalling.

I have set everything up in Merlin Messaging, but I do not know the procedure to set up the vm ports. I go to calling groups under "quick access" but I cannot locate the Integrated VMI to change the members to unrestricted. Is that done in SPM? If someone can walk me through this I would really appreciate it.

Is your voice mail already set up and working, and you just need to get outcalling to work, or are you needing to set up Merlin Messaging from scratch?

Thanks TT. :-}

Yes...Everything is set-up and working. I've set up my extension (turned outcalling on) as the test, but it won't call out. I'm set-up in Hybrid Mode. My one backdoor number is the VM number and is set under group 772. Group 772 is not set up as Integrated VMI it is Auto Logout.

thanks for the help
Brian
