Has anyone gotten a DID that is pointed to a calling group to end up at an auto attendant? The customer has 8 DID's pointed at a T1, 7 of them are direct to stations and the 8th should ring the receptionist and then go to AA. It rings forever at the reception phone. I've done the normal line coverage stuff on the T1 lines but it won't go to VM. Any ideas?

Did you activate DID on the lines themselves also? Down at the bottom of each line editing screen I had to change them. Make sure you have it in hybrid mode also.
I did end up getting it to work, but it won't behave how the customer wanted it.

i did go into lines and make them DID. And yes the system is in hybrid mode. I also set each channel/line to either vms/aa, vms, or none. I also confirmed with the carrier the number of digits sent [4] and had them confirm by manually sending thr digits I requested. I still only get the signal to ring at the auto attendant and cannot get any DID'S to work. I'm sure I'm missing something, but I can't see what it is. HELP?

Did you go into the DID mapping table under system? There you tell each did # which ext, huntgroup, etc it is supposed to go to.

The install didn't go too badly, there are some things that I couldn't get to work right, mostly due to using the PC Card voice mail. I thought of it as a dancing bear, even if it doesn't know all the steps it's still impressive.
There is a mandatory default to start the T1 channels at 9 or higher. We were hooking it up to a Qwest oneflex integrated T1 and they weren't too excited about making the change but did in the end. Setting expectations about features like caller ID are important when customers think that T1 = PRI.
