I have a customer with a Legend R7 that has about a 2 second delay before connecting when they answer the call? Any ideas??? Thanks

What kind of lines or sevices feed the Legend? 1fb's,T-1, or other?

Possibly the Caller ID Delay is not turned on?

Caller Id delay is on and the caller id is functional, but when the customer answers the phone,says hello 2-3 times before caller can hear?? Changed line cards, cpu????

Are the calls coming to the person after going through an auto attendant. If so and it is not an integrated / Lucent mail they sometimes have a supervised transfer with a delayed release.

Have you tested @ MPOE with a butt set? I've seen this before, and it was a telco pair-gain issue.

No, I haven't tried with a butt set (should have at the beginning...) Calls are not going thru auto attendant...not even using any kind of voice mail
