I have IP office 406 unit version 3.0(29) with an So8 version 5.1(29) and ISDN IMUX attached. Incoming calls to the ISDN lines work because of an incoming call route entry. What doesn't work is calls outgoing from ISDN. Is there a way to specify a call route stating something like all calls from the line group ID 501 (ISDN) to use that line group? I have tried setting up a short code of 8 to dial using line group ID 501. Maybe my sytax for the shortcode is incorrect. I used: Code: [8]xxxxxxx; | tel num: N | Feature: Dial| LG ID: 501 Code [8]N; | tel num: N | Feature: Dial | LD ID: 501
Am I setting this up correctly? All other calls coming from standard phone sets dial 9 which goes to line group ID 0.
I appreciate any help you could give me. Thank you.

Looks ok, do you have your incoming and outgoing groups assigned to the lines?

For the lines in question yes, the incoming group ID is 0,0 and the outgoing group ID is 501,501
Incoming is handled via an incoming call route on line group ID 0 pointed to a short code. The shortcode is then defined as a dial feature using line group ID 501. Incoming works fine.

What about the properties on the SO lines? Should I look to be adding short codes for those? What's the purpose of an SO line specific short code? Thanks.
