I have a customer with a Partner ACS with Partner Mail VS that has all lines going to the voice mail auto attendant. Is it possible to pull out line 3 and have it play a separate greeting from the others. I found in the manual to use #206 to assign the lines, but no place to create a second greeting. Any help would be appreciated.

The older VS systems didn't have multiple auto attendants (i believe R5 did). Just assign line coverage to a mailbox and then record the mailbox greeting to get your second greeting.

Yes, the VS R.5 can have 4-AA's. All of the earlier versions of the VS has only 1-AA.

I can't login to mailbox 99 in the voicemail to administer the system. I press 777# systems ask me to enter box, I press 99#. Systems says invalid entry. Is there a way to go through the PBX programming to change the password for the voicemail. Or am I trying to access the wrong admin box.

Are you sure it is a VS Mail?

That would work but then there wouldn't be any selector code options for the caller. Verify which voicemail is actually installed. If it is a Partner Mail with a version earlier than five and they want more than one auto attendent, then it maybe time to upgrade.

6string, I think the big issue right now is for him to know what mail he actually has and whether or not he can log in to the admin box.
devildog92, can you go look at the VM circuit pack and see what the tag says on it about half way down next to the power light indicator?
