clocking issue. release 4.2.17. This customer has two circuits the first is working fine and the callers have no issue. The second has clicking noise every few seconds on outbound only. I have changed the clock quality to network, fallback and unsuitable. each with the same result. The working PRI is set to network. The lec says the trouble is the cabling in the building, Anyone have any ideas? I don't know much about how clocking works, have just been lucky on these PRI's until now I guess.

try switching the PRI's at the system and see if it follows the circuit or stays put. If it follows it is the circuit, if it doesnt follow I would look at cabling, or the pri card

Or, at the minimum, put the problem T1 in the other port and see what happens.
Would the problem circuit happen to be a dynamic T1?

When we swap the circit the errors follow. I have changed out the PRI card, patch cable and verified the cabling. Vendor meet was a no show for the provider. It has been rescheduled.

Fixed. Don't know how or why because we changed nothing in programming on the IP Office but it was the equipment that caused the problem per the LEC. Nice.
