Hi, Gents.

I usually hang out in the Mitel and NEC areas, but I find myself responsible for a Definity. I have a working knowledge of Definity -- used to do basic MACs in a voicemail lab environment, years ago -- but am not certified on it (I am certified on Mitel SX200 ICP and NEC 2400 and 2000).

This is in a hotel, and there are serial links for PMS integration (Softbrands/HIS) and call accounting.

Call accounting is up and working, receives SMDR and relays data to PMS. However, PMS does not consistently transmit name display data, and does not consistently reset phones. I am also getting reports of phantom voicemail lamps and/or call-forward (coverage) to voicemail is disappearing.

Any suggestions for things to check out and common solutions? Words of wisdom?

Audix VM, and the default does not work, so, no, I do not have a login and PW. I don't have the software release.

2 cabinets, and these numbers are near the processor: DEF R9 DR TN2404 V3
There's also an IP address: 05.1.122.4

The numbers 05.1.122.4 is the release of the Definity software that is on the processor, R9 05.1.122.4. Is your Audix a TN568 board in the system?

In that you don't have passwords, I would have the PMS company trouble shoot. If they say its the switch problem you will need someone to get into the switch and check \settings.
The settings don't change by themselves, I would think it is a PMS problem.

Got most of the serial items fixed, thanks.

I do now have an installer level log-in also. I am still having an issue with phantom message lights.

Am I correct in thinking that

CLEAR AMW AUDIX xxxx

will clear message lights for ext. xxxx?
