My customer at a bank has requested an entry system with a directory that can dial different extensions from the front door. An electric strike or door release is not required but they need the ability to dial extensions or DID lines. Is there an Avaya product for this or should I just get a Linear or DoorKing entry system? Thanks in advance.

I know that Avaya sells a re-badged Bogen door phone, but I'm not aware of the company offering anything that can dial multiple extensions. For that, you'd probably want to look at either of the systems you mentioned.

Thank you Dexman - I appreciate the information. I defer to experts like yourself. It saves me a lot of time researching something that may not even exist.
