I have an ICS with 7.0 software and a Call pilot 150 voice mail. The system has a PRI T1 with DID.
I am getting conflicting answers and hope you guys can help.
1. Can you have a DID ring directly to a mailbox (no phone) without using an ASM. 2.Customer wants the caller Id info from a DID to be displayed when they make a call not the main DID #. I was told this is automatic with this system and no programming is needed. I was also told by Verizon that a order must be placed with them to make this work this way.
Thanks for any help you may offer me.

See this for question 1. https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/ultimatebb.php?/ubb/get_topic/f/8/t/001754.html As for question 2. There is a setting where you can send out the caller ID, but be warned that it shows the name you program for that set and it never looks good. There is no - between the number. I personally always send out the main number.
Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol

Nickels, the name on the set sent out as name for Caller ID? I've never seen that before how'd you get that to work, I've only seen the number that is programmed in the OLI and no name.

Yes to both
1)In the mailbox you should have a box that says "Express Messaging Line" just put the Target Line that you have assigned for that mailbox there.
2) Use the OLI feature of the set.

I have had the name go out multiple times without any programming assigned, but not always. Depends on how the Telco sets up the PRI. I know for the set name to go out, on Telus PRI's there is an NI2 setting for the protocol. You will see it and it ain't pretty.

OLI is all done for each set, Still not working.....caller id still shows up as the main number. I was told by Verizon that an order needs to be made so this will work on their end so I think it is that.....
Any other programming needed on the phone system?
Thanks Again for all your help
