Hi, Thought I would just add to this topic rather then starting a new one. Similar, I have a Meridian Norstar Compact ICS w/ Startalk Flash part#'s NT7B58, NT7B64AA, & NT5B06

What part#'s would I need to get this to 24 sets?

Thank you,

-E

I thought you could expand Restricted software with a Keycode.

Ok I found:

The Compact ICS 4x8 Restricted Software can be upgraded by purchasing the Restricted to
Standard Software Key Code. This software key code immediately enables the additional 8
stations within the core unit, making 16 stations available without additional hardware.

Can you tell me if I have the restricted software? The part# is NT7B64AA.

Also if it is restricted then am I to understand it's a 4x8 system until I get the keycode?

Thanks,

-E

Yes, that is DR1 restricted software.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you can still increase the trunk side with restricted software, just not the station side.

Rather than key codes, I have always installed new software to bring it up to the newest version. There are a lot of features that have been added and/or improved since DR1. One of the big ones is how caller id works.

In your case though, you can only upgrade your software to a level that will still work with your Flash V/M (unless you upgrade it too). If you post your V/M software level, we will be able to tell you what level is compatible.
