Installed a TVA-50 with a TA824 and did custom menus and everything was working fine.
Today when I dial the VPS ext#107 or 108 it's just blank. Tried power cycling the TVA-50 but no luck.
Has anyone else come across this one?

Is the power light blinking on the TVA? If it is you have loss integration between the two. If it's a steady green then at least it's integrated. What does the port status say about the VM ports in the TVA GUI tool? What do you mean by blank?

Ben,
Thanks for the quick reply. Well blank in the sense no ringing tone nor busy tone. Dial the EXT and blank.
The TVA light is steady green.
I could check VM's yesterday and was working fine. No changes to the programming. I am quite puzzled how can the VPS suddenly go blank?
EDIT: Not at the location so can't update regarding the port status. Voice mail and auto attendent is working fine when you call from outside and you can login to mailboxes rempotely.

The intergration must be working fine if auto attendent and voice mail is working from outside as it has to go through system to get to VM. do you have a main vm access number ie 165. check what lead number the lines are dil to.

I do not have a main access number for the VM. How do I set that up? And how do I check the lead lines? Thanks

Sorry head miles away in last comment, the voice mail ports on the 824 works as station hunting so you use the ext 107-108 as call no.'s, but the part about the intergration working is right if working from outside.
are you using apt intergration or dtmf?

8011G, check the voicemail assignment on the TA824. I believe for ports 7 & 8 your looking at field 130. MrG

8011G, I realize that but check to see if it somehow got changed. Also have you simply tried a reset of the TA824? MrG
