I have one phone extension that rings busy when you call internally while they are on the phone. It does not go to voice mail as all the other extensions do. Is this something that needs to be changed in the DK280 or our voice mail system?

Is IT in DND? Is IT call forwarded to VM on Busy?Does IT say anything on the display? If you call IT when nobody is on the phone does IT ring and goto VM?

It sounds like you have call forward no answer programmed but not call forward busy.
You could do [Int] # 6 0 1 [Redial] [Speaker] to clear all call forwarding and then do the Call forward busy/no answer and see if that fixes it.
