Hi. When installing a PRT card on a IPK 192, I would like to ask if anyone knows how to test my PRT card. I can't seem to figure out how to make it work. I've completed everything there is to be done in the programming side, 1-8-33 7-1 1-13-00 1-13-05 and so on.. But when I connect the system to an ISDN network the alarms won't go. I'v tried a loop back test but the alarms still remain. Is there a certain switch setting i have to apply? Thanks in advance. Hope you guys could help me out.

You have to be sure that you have Clock module installed on CPU and your switches has to be set up to match the right protokol. SW1,2,3-ON SW4-OFF = NI2 Sw1-Off, 2-ON, 3-ON, 4-OFF = 4ESS SW1-OFF, 2-OFF, 3-ON, 4-OFF = 5ESS(Lucent Custom) ON, ON, OFF, OFF = DMS-100(Custom)

Hw bout with the loop back tests? Shouldn't the alarms go off when I do a loop back? What happens is while the card is starting up the L1, SLIP, RAI, and LOF LED's turn red while the AIS LED turns blinking red. Yup i already have the Clock card installed on my CPU.
